“Human spirit is the ability to face the uncertainty of the future with curiosity and optimism. It is the belief that problems can be solved, differences resolved. It is a type of confidence. And it is fragile. It can be blackened by fear and superstition.” ~ Bernard Beckett
Life is sure like a river sometimes, ain’t it? You flow along calmly then hit a few rapids, but you always seem to come back to calm at some point. Mind the logs! Our shero’s journey through healing is like a river, too. She hit a rapid today with a pesky temperature and headache. I’m trusting she’ll be out of the eddy and back in the calm tomorrow. She’s the toughest woman I’ve ever known.
