“Forgiveness is the final form of love.” ~ Reinhold Niebuhr
As excited as I am about the new job, I’m going to really miss my colleagues in reference. This morning they had a breakfast pot luck, and was kind enough to invite me. I can’t sing their praises enough, as individuals and as a team. I admire and respect what they do. Reference librarians are some of the smartest people I’ve ever met. Their memory capacity is immense, and they’re incredible teachers – most people don’t realize that. I could never be a reference librarian for all those reasons and then some. I am ever so thankful for their kindness and friendship during my stay with them. I’ve never felt more welcome.
