Many young people graduated from college today. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky on this same date 17 years ago. So much has changed since then, mostly for the better. I’m grateful for even the bad things that have come and gone over those years. They were each a chance to learn and grow. The most important degree to earn is a degree from the University of Life. Go out and experience life. Try new foods. Go to exotic places, even if that’s just a neighboring city of state. Be good to yourself and others along the way. Even if you just stop from time to to time to watch the clouds roll by like you’re six years old again, the act of appreciation will pay untold dividends. Enjoy the journey.
