This is where Kennedy’s Bookstore used to be. This is where I snapped one of my favorite photos of downtown. I couldn’t take that same shot now and Kennedy’s is never coming back. The University is constructing a long-overdue and much needed parking structure addition. I really hope they build it tall enough to not only accommodate our needs today but well into the future. Mostly, I hope the new structure allows another great view of downtown. Better parking would be a bonus.
