“There are no perfect parents, and no perfect children, but there are plenty of perfect moments along the way.” ~ Unknown

Ordinarily, I would wait to mention the evening’s event when I know more, but social media got ahold of it before we’d even seen the doctor, so I might as well talk about it so there’s no miscommunication. Of course, there’s not much to tell yet because we’re still in the ER awaiting test results. The long and short if it is dad experienced a steep decline today. By the time I got home from work, he was hardly responsive and limp as a dishrag. It could be a number of things, but we won’t know until the results are in. The VA ER was full of Covid patients so we landed at UK ER, which is also near capacity due to Covid. I feel so sorry for these doctors and nurses, and I feel really sorry for the few patients who are here that don’t have Covid. This is no place to be right now. If you cut your finger, you might think about sewing it up yourself. What I know for sure is UK has the finest doctors that can be had and I know they’ll take the best care of our Hero possible.
