“It’s your outlook on life that counts. If you take yourself lightly and don’t take yourself too seriously, pretty soon you can find the humor in our everyday lives. And sometimes it can be a lifesaver.”
~ Betty White

Poor mom. Her fever broke in a sweat overnight, and the heat in her arm dissipated a bit though the redness spread outside the line. Even though she’s better, she’s not out of the woods, or out of the hospital. She’s spending another night, maybe two, in hopes the infection, which is still of undetermined bacterial design, will be further annihilated. She and dad are definitely missing their trip out west. Their group leaves in the morning. I think she’s more upset about missing the trip than her life-threatening infection. As for dad, he just keeps going with the flow. We spent the day together and he regaled me with a number of stories I’ve never heard before. There are silver linings to every dark cloud. Now, if we could just get mom healed up we’d be cooking with gas.
