There’s an enormous Catalpa tree I pass everyday to and from the office. There’s not a single day I pass her that I don’t think about Angie Bliss Fanning and the 2-Pony Ranch with two beautiful Catalpa trees in the front yard. Today, my UK Catalpa was flowering. I stopped to take a good look. I thought of Angie, the 2-Pony, and the decades of love shared among friends around those front-yard Catalpas. I’ve had glorious friendships in my life, and many of them trace their roots back to Angie. Like passing this Catalpa, there’s not a day goes by that I’m not grateful for her.
