When I was living in Tahlequah I used to come off the road, pick up Katie after school, and we’d go to Taco Bell. This was our auntie/niece bonding time. It was during one of these outings that it happened: the first time I realized I was becoming older. We were driving down Main Street laughing at something when I punctuated the joke with “200 years ago today…”. Katie didn’t respond. I asked, “You remember Walter Cronkite’s spots during the 1976 Bicentennial that started with ‘200 years ago today’, right?” In her Katie deadpan voice (think Wednesday Addams), she turned to me and said, “I was born in 1977.”

    I for one, LOVE the heck outa ya BOTH!! no matter how many years happen to fly by.. SO THANKFUL we have them and grateful to be all in the Two Pony family~
