Erin Chandler’s enthusiasm to keep her creativity fed is as true as the day is long. I’ve never had an uninteresting, uninformative conversation with her. It gets even more interesting when she brings Warren Seabury to the table. If this picture puts you in mind of a long-married couple, it should. They can, admittedly, sound like one.
Warren reminds me so much of my great uncle, Randy, that I catch myself staring at him for no singular reason. They share a translucent, slender build punctuated by big blue eyes. Their mannerisms are strikingly similar. They tell a story – any story – in the most long-winded, gloriously fantastical way. Randy would sometimes tell stories that were so exaggerated in detail that I just couldn’t believe him. Nobody in the family believed him. I don’t think Warren is lying, quite the contrary, but something about the ride is familiar. And I like it! Seeing Randy through Warren’s open spirit renewed my appreciation of him. Never a dull moment.
