I’ve done many things in my life, but the vast majority of my scholarship comes from working as a librarian and archivist at the University of Kentucky Libraries from 2001 to 2027. I held several positions during that time and wrote on a few of them. But after receiving my Master’s in Historic Preservation, I began to focus more on Appalachian place and identity and how those are effected by increasing natural disasters. This work is ongoing.
