I love Lucky’s Market. The way they present their produce reminds me so much of how my dad used to display the produce in his grocery store back in West Liberty. He didn’t have the convenience of bay doors like Lucky’s. He carried watermelons and corn and beans and bananas whatever else he was selling by crate and box until he had the front of the store stacked with fresh produce. Dad was extremely successful in that business. He worked his butt off to make it happen. He is a great role model in so many ways, and being a hard worker is just one. Thank you, Lucky’s, for the fond memories. I might even enjoy grocery shopping!
