When Pam and Barb were here we talked a lot about Cane Ridge. I mentioned that a group of dedicated historians and practitioners had built a shrine around the meeting house. As I continue to process the photos from the beautiful service I attended with Nila and John, I found this shot of the meeting house within the shrine. I must say, they did a really nice job with it. It’s simple, and it doesn’t detract – inside or out – from the meeting house itself. It’s such a special place to me. I’m still stunned that it has just been right here in my backyard all along. Blessings around every corner I tell ya!

  1. Our congregation held a service there several years ago. Dad preached and Piboo, aka LJ Kersey, served communion. The acoustics during our congregational capella singing was phenomenal. A special place indeed.
