Last weekend I got my grandmother’s bedroom suit. Like most things she owned, it is not high quality furniture made even less so over time. Nevertheless, it’s an interesting late 40’s/early 50’s era three piece with a unique headboard that doubles as a book shelf. How many hours I spent as a child playing with those sliding doors, I couldn’t count. Today, a new mattress was delivered, the original destroyed in the tornado (water damage). Tonight, I will sleep like I am five years old again.
