On facebook earlier this week, friends and I had a fun conversation about dandelion and redbud jelly. That’s right; dandelion and redbud jelly. Turns out one can make jelly from each of these springtime delights. I know some folks who make dandelion salads, but I had no idea about the jelly possibilities of either. I don’t have time to try the recipes I’ve linked to in this post (or any other recipe for that matter), but I certainly have ample access to dandelions and redbud blossoms, and I fully intend to give their jellies a whirl in the next couple of years after my grad school schedule has slowed.
