It was a pivotal 20 minutes. Then, I walked out to find a hawk lit upon a lamppost. The hawk is a symbol of attention, vision, leadership, power, and energy: all important elements for a future. She was enormous and, perfect in every way. Potential incarnate. Charles de Lint has close ties to someone instrumental in my past and my future. His was the first quote I read today, and the only quote by him I have ever found. Do we recognize key events of our futures as they are happening? Maybe. Is there such a thing as coincidence? There are no coincidences in my world. What would it feel like to have the two collide on the same day? I can’t describe it, but I’m sure excited by the possibilities!
