Oh, the cone flowers are really springing to life now, and they were so, so, so beautiful in the morning sun when I parked the car. When I returned to the car after work, they were dinner for bees and butterflies. I just had to snap again. I’m looking forward to getting my yard back into shape in retirement. When I first bought my house, I did quite a bit of gardening, but once I got busy with work, then parents, then school, I just couldn’t deal with it anymore. When I see such displays of color, I’ve got to find the energy to bring some of that beauty home.
