Lord Basil was hot. Lord Basil’s house had no AC for the entire weekend, and by 6am today, he was looking for the mustard because he was a hot dog. That’s right. I was hit by a wall of heat when I opened the door Friday evening after work, but it was too late to get someone to fix it (without it costing a kidney), so Buddy and I toughed it out until this morning. The weekend was a bit like glamping. Anyway, Freddie Cornett of Cornett Mechanical – remember that name. If you have any HVAC problems, he’s your man. Stacy sent him to me saying he was brilliant and kind, and she was not wrong at all. The last guys who serviced the unit warned me it had a freon leak, so I expected to shell out thousands for a new unit. Nope, a $200 capacitor, no leak, and I was back in business. Don’t call Ghostbusters; call Freddie Cornett. He is Lord Basil George Heybuddy Pogo Terry approved.
