“I believe in the Golden Rule – that we should love our neighbors as ourselves – and the parable of the Good Samaritan teaches us that everyone is our neighbor. Let’s keep living out our faith and values and be kind to one another.” ~ Andy Beshear

Shero and I needed a cheeseburger. We’ve been searching for a delicious burger joint in Lexington, and it looks like we finally found one just one mile from the house. Rosemont Station, a service station garage-turned restaurant on Rosemont Garden near the railroad track, served us the best burgers in Lexington so far. The patties were Critchfield meat, the quality outstanding, no frozen meat here, and since we could create our own topping choices, the burgers tasted fresh and summery. Plus, they make incredible fried onions. They’re not onion rings, but much better onion petals. Our waitress, Harper, was hip and fun and energetic and brought us an enormous tiramisu from a restaurant-mate across the street, PieTana. (the same people own the two establishments) Shero is not a tiramisu person, but she gets an A for trying it. It was a pretty perfect evening for a little foodie adventure and we hit a home run with Rosemont Station.
