“No matter how dark it gets around you, never lose your shine. Life shines on those who shine from within.” ~ Sangeeta Rana
Ya’ll, it’s the eleventh day of November, and my super tiny near-Bonzai-sized azalea bush has bloomed. Not only that, it has more buds that are ready to bloom. We are two weeks from Thanksgiving, nearly two weeks past Halloween. We should be wearing layers and flannel by now with double quilts on the beds. But, no. I have new grass growing, and my near-Bonzai azalea is blooming. Don’t get me wrong, I love a splash of color in the yard, but everything in its season, ya know? Besides, who wants to make chili when it’s hot out? Bring on chili season!
