little buddy!
Lord Basil has at last returned home after three weeks (two weeks with Aunt Jill, and another week with Aunts Jen and Abby). How well he and Scrappy would do together was questionable, especially when bedtime rolled around. I am happy to report that not a single growl was given, no gnashing of teeth, no drawn blood, not even a single bared tooth. The photo below was taken this morning after breakfast when it was time for me to do my weekly readings and begin to assemble my final projects (yes, we are that close to the end of the semester). With ample room during situating, they managed to sit with me for a long time and sleep peacefully. Now, once we get Shero back up on her feet completely, all will be right with my world once more. I sure have missed my little buddy, and I am so, so, so happy to have him home.
