You know what I did yesterday? Nothing but sleep. I woke up long enough to feed the dogs, feed myself, turn the TV on, and then go right back to sleep. I haven’t slept that much since I had the flu last year, except this time, I’m not sick, thankfully. I went to sleep after all the guests left on Christmas Day, and I basically slept until 9 am today. I must have been tired. I awoke rested, and went out to run errands I’d been putting off, including renewing my car tags at the Fayette County Clerk’s office, where the line was the shortest I’ve ever seen it, and the downtown sky beautiful between the rain showers. I’m back home and will continue to rest like I need it.
