The frigid temps and snow are lifting this week, but last Friday, Shero’s birthday, they were still strong enough to sustain ice over most of Cave Run Lake. Naturally, I had to pull over for at least one photo. There are some other beautiful spots along the lake that you can’t get to easily, and one of these days when I’m not in a hurry to get somewhere, I’m gonna stop at those spots, too, just to prove they exist. Boy, Eastern Kentucky sure is pretty in the snow.
