“Offer whatever light you can.” ~ Sandra Boynton

specks and drops

I’ve been up since 2:30 am, thanks to strong winds with gusts up to 50 miles an hour. I worked a full day and then went to the dentist to have a chipped tooth repaired (again). It was warm through the morning. Windy but warm. But at lunchtime, a heavy rain blew through, and temps began to drop. By the time I got out of the dentist’s office, it was snowing. Springtime in Kentucky is like riding a roller coaster. One minute you’re peaking at the top of the ride, the sun is shining, and daffodils are peaking through the soil, and the next minute, your neck is cracking like a crab shell as you whip around a curve at 70 miles an hour, and it’s snowing.
