lunch ladies do dinner
Tomorrow, the Fourth of July, is BFF Marie’s birthday. To celebrate, we had a Lunch Ladies gathering for supper. It was a wonderful meal and even better company. It had been far too long since we three had the chance to chitty-chat, and we only left the restaurant because it was rude to stay longer. I got to drive Marie home, see her beloved Robert, and photograph them in the sunset. I even got to meet their dog, Luna, the smiling dog. It was a beautiful end to the day. My love for these people runs deep. Chosen family, one and all.
