rookwood
Rookwood Pottery may sound familiar to you if you’re in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, a fan of pottery, a regular reader of the outhouse, or a friend of Stacy Yelton (you may also be all of the above). Rookwood Pottery, a Cincinnati staple since 1880, is beloved by many, especially Stacy, and as luck would have it, Jen and Jon, too. The Rookwood examples above come from their home. They were strategic in their home remodel, which included Rookwood tile in the kitchen, bath, and fireplace. The chicken has a name, but I don’t remember it now – Gracie? Gilda? Margaret? I don’t know, but Jen does, and Stacy probably does. In fact, between Jen and Stacy, Rookwood is seriously missing out on a Dynamic Duo PR machine who would probably work for pottery instead of money. Fiona ornaments alone would keep them happy. (Fiona is the baby hippo at Cinci Zoo). I’m looking forward to more adventures!
