Bonnie Bartlett, the newest addition to the Bartlett household, has come for a few days’ respite at The Lodge, and in case you can’t tell, Lord Basil is utterly thrilled. Bonnie won’t be a year old until November, making her closer to Buddy’s age than Scrappy’s. Old man Scrappy does not enjoy the youthful energy. He was fine when they were all outside, but once indoors, he grumbled… a lot, as if to say, “You kids get off my lawn!” I’m thrilled Bonnie has come to stay for a while. It gives my little Buddy someone to play with, while the gumpy old man stays sleepy and grumpy and a few other Dwarves.
