This time last year, John Winstead and I flew to Kentucky on the nose of Hurricane Helene. We had attended the annual NDNP conference at the Library of Congress in DC. This year, the conference was held virtually, and some folks weren’t with us because, well, a lot of things have changed since last year. Whether virtual or in person, I made lifelong friends in this program, and every time we’re together, my heart grows a thousand sizes. I’ve been involved with few things as important and special as NDNP. I’m such a lucky girl.
