friends again
Shorty Terry was the best of us. Gurney Norman was the best of us. The two friends are, no doubt, sharing wild mountain tales on the other side of the veil since Gurney crossed over yesterday. Many people will say many wonderful things about Gurney, all of it deserving, all of it true, about Gurney and about their relationship to him. There’s really nothing I can say that they won’t say. He was an incredible teacher and mentor. He was an even better friend. Gurney gave us all many gifts, but he gave this one to me. He is etched into my heart like no other.
