Look at this stunner of a sunset tonight! Isn’t it beautiful? I felt so lucky to see such a gorgeous moment after spending the day inside at the ER again. Shero just isn’t feeling her best, so it was back early this morning for more fluids, more tests, and more graham crackers and peanut butter, which we had for lunch at 2:30 this afternoon. I made up for it with a killer meatloaf this evening. I have to give a shout-out to UK’s ER because today’s team was utterly exceptional. From the tech who brought us in to the doctor and intern who treated her, the whole team took such good care of Shero that they made my job easier. When we left late this afternoon, we already had a follow-up to get to the heart of the problem. As I said, today’s ER team was aces, and I’m so, so grateful to them all, and so is Shero. She’s feeling a little better this evening, and I think we’re both looking forward to a better day tomorrow.

So glad that Sheri has gotten to feeling a bit better now. Please tell her that we love her and miss her. Very thankful for a good team of medical staff. Prayers for a better day tomorrow.
