Emma was in town from Georgia, dropped by to see me at the office, and made my day. It was about this time last year that we were celebrating our graduations at the Appalachian Center. She got her PhD and left us, but Kentucky claims her and will welcome her home every time. She really did make an insanely busy day bearable, and I’m so grateful to her.
