the money pit
Poor Stacy was finally forced to update the plumbing throughout her house after years of leaky faucets, grainy water, rumbles and grumbles and bad pressure. That happens after 70+ years of use. She wasn’t quite prepared for the backhoe to live in her front yard for a few days, the landscaping casualty, and the inevitable sidewalk replacement, which in itself won’t be inexpensive. Despite it all, she remains jovial, even happy that her water no longer tastes of rusted pipe. Bless her.
