“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” ~ Albert Einstein
I went out visiting the sick and shut-in, as we say back home. I helped Annie Bassoni dig some pesky polk weed and spider wort; a gift from a friend who neglected to mention its invasive nature. It felt good to dig in the dirt on a hot day and help a friend. In return, I got this most awesome collection of classic Annie pictures. They’ll help keep life in perspective if ever I’m down. She’s a nut, and I love her for it! I also dropped off some belated birthday gifts and photos to baby boyfriend Riley Morrow. His sweet mama, Heidi, gave Annie and I some homegrown cucumbers, and Riley almost smiled at me. I’ve felt naked not photographing him every month. I sure do love him and his mom and dad. What a wonderful day to see people that mean so much to me. A pretty perfect Sunday.
