“Don’t wait for other people to be loving, giving, compassionate, grateful, forgiving, generous, or friendly… lead the way!” ~ Steve Maraboli
Meet Crackerjack. Four days ago dad was going about his work when this little guy suddenly appeared in the middle of the road. It was one of those sub-zero days not fit for man nor beast. Dad rescued him from certain death, took him to mom who took him to the vet. Still, no one has claimed him. Meanwhile, mom and dad have fallen completely, totally, 100% in love, and there’s little wonder why. He’s probably the most calm pup I’ve ever seen; a total love muffin with a tail that wags constantly. He’s a really happy dog, I mean, look at that smile! According to the vet (Doc Holbrook for those in Morgan County) , he’s a feist (hunting dog) with a hint of pomeranian (unusual combo). He’s four months old and seven pounds of love. On the other hand, the cats who are each twice his weight, won’t go near him. They’re not loving him. I love dogs even if they don’t. It’s good to have one in the family.
