One of the most important blessings to me and my folks is this man, Chris Terrell. Chris was a registered nurse before disability forced him to retire. He’s been a friend of the family for some years now, married to distant cousin Stanya Franklin, and living within walking distance of mom and dad. Both he and Stanya are eager to help my folks and Aunt Janet, frequently going out of their way to do things for them. They’re giving spirits and eagerness to help are a huge blessing to me, and they have helped put my mind at ease more times than I can count.

Naturally, Chris was ready to lend a nurse’s hand to mom’s wound. Every night since she came home, he and Stanya come by so he can change her dressing. It fills the house with laughter, and brings such a calm and comforting feel to my folks. Wally and I were lucky to be at the party tonight. Stanya brought brownies I didn’t need, but oh they tasted so good. What good, good people Chris and Stanya are, and how fortunate for us they love us all three.
