Crystal and I have had lunch together every day this week, which probably hasn’t happened since Marie was still at the office (that’s how much we miss her). As a bonus, we’ve had lunch outside because the weather has been more like early October than the seventh-level-of-hell-August. It has been a nice way to reconnect, recenter, and ground ourselves for the rest of the day. Working inside on such beautiful days is hard, so having lunch together in the sun makes it bearable. Natural Vitamin D and a friend: I’m lucky to have both.
