Crystal and I weren’t alone the last time we photographed Memorial Coliseum. Doug Appler, chair of the Historic Preservation Department – and my advisor and committee chair – joined us as did Shell Dunn. You met Doug back in 2020 when we photographed the Kirwin-Blanding Complex. Doug fancies photography and has access to a large format camera. Naturally, we hit it off during my first semester back in 2019. I enjoy having him join our merry band of camera nerds.
