Dad is doing his best to improve. I’ve enjoyed having he and mom with me while he recuperates. He has told me many stories I’ve never heard before. It’s been eye-opening, especially the stories about becoming a paratrooper. I brought home a recorder from work and hope he will retell those stories and more. And while mom continues to rest from the utterly exhausting two weeks she’s had (and that infected leg seen below), I bet I can get her to tell some stories, too. I’m a lucky, lucky woman.
