“It is through the mistakes that the greatest learning happens on an inner level.”

I discovered I liked malt when Brahm’s (an Oklahoma dairy chain) accidentally put it in my milkshake. I began to crave biscuits and gravy when I quit smoking (I hated even the idea of biscuits and gravy prior to that). I suddenly liked cantaloupe after my gallbladder was removed. Recently, after I accidentally bought a Lean Cuisine lunch meal with sweet potatoes, I found they weren’t too bad. To confirm that my life-long hatred of sweet potatoes had been repealed, I bought the meal again. They still weren’t too bad. Then, tonight, I had sweet potato crinkle fries. The jury is back and the verdict is, after 51 years, I like sweet potatoes. The lunch ladies will be so proud. I always say my mistakes are some of the best things I ever do.
