Well…nothing about this day was expected. As you can see, our Hero has returned to the VA for another stay, hopefully not an extended stay. This getting old stuff is tough. And I just learned that one of my dearest friends passed today. More on that in a few days when it’s had time to sink in, but my God, how lucky I am to have had such a friend and to still have such a dad. I am the luckiest woman I know. Grief cannot change that.
