It’s not every man you can meet on a corner for a book drop, but Greg Davis is just such a man. It might have looked slightly like a bag of cash or a drug hand-off, but no. Greg brought me Late Migrations by Margaret Renkl. Jen Reynolds told me about this book back in cold months, and it has continually popped onto my screen ever since. Greg was the latest to rave about Renkl’s masterpiece. I shall be next to sing its praises thanks to him. This fella right here: I love him so much. He gives me books I love, and he gives me books he thinks I will love. He knows me well. That makes him a keeper.
