BFF Scott McClatchy completed an incredible goal yesterday. When the pandemic lockdown hit, he was forced to cancel his live shows, and because he’s a perceptive dude, he could sense people was hurting, searching for hope in the face of extreme uncertainty. On March 15, 2020 he broadcast to the world – via Facebook – his first pandemic-inspired Mission To Civilize Internet Guitar Pull. It was something to help us through. He – we all – thought it would be just a few weeks until the world reopened. Yesterday, he sang his 365th guitar pull. A full year, ya’ll, and not one song repeated. Not one. Then, he sent me the photo above. I sent him one back (also above). We got through this together with his songs and without cutting our hair. Songs and hair: it’s all part of his Mission to Civilize.
