A beaming Judy has returned from her time in Mexico where her fabulous son, Michael, was married last weekend. Like everything else, it was supposed to happen last year, but the pandemic got in the way. They waited it out and it went off without a hitch. She went down with a son and came back with a daughter-in-law whom she adores. How sweet is that? As she so often does when she goes away, Judy brought back an utterly stunning gift of regional flavor and incredible crafts(wo)manship for moi. I am mighty lucky to have such a thoughtful friend.

Hey, I saw Judy yesterday when I was going to First Watch. You guys definitely had the better meal! Glad the two of you were able to catch up, and it’s great to hear that Michael was finally able to have his wedding.
