I dropped by to see my friend Rachel Savané who just celebrated her 25th anniversary as a quite successful artist. I actually won a gift certificate as part of the celebration. I couldn’t believe it. I never win anything. It’s Crystal Heis’ job to win prizes, not mine so, I was thrilled to say the least. Rachel makes exquisite silver jewelry with crystals and Kentucky agate, and all those crystals have made her a calm, unflappable soul. My kind of people.
