Remember I said Greg and I were stuck on I-40 for 2.5 hours? Just 70 miles east of Little Rock near Brinkly, we were four miles behind this big rig wreck that blocked both lanes. From the best I can tell, it was a truckload of furniture, maybe a few carpet rolls thrown in. The two guys on their phones sitting on the ruins cracked me up. In all seriousness, I don’t think anyone was fatally hurt, and I’m not sure anyone was hurt at all because I can’t find any news reports about it, and if someone dies or is seriously injured, there would be some reports available. I think the only thing hurt was the trailer, furniture, and the trucker’s pride. Another motorist had fun with his drone while he waited, but even he was about two miles back, so we didn’t get a close look at the site. Greg and I had fun visiting a little longer, though, so it wasn’t a total loss, and we were really grateful we didn’t need a bathroom. Be safe out there, kids, and always have some water and snacks in the car just in case. Also, caravan with your besties at every opportunity.
