Friday Friends
The stars aligned to allow us a fantastic lunch with Mama Heis and friends, none of whom had been to Rosemont Station but had heard me sing its praises as the best burger in town. Mama Heis played Uber for Marie and brought along her good friend Pat with whom she has made glass art for many years. I like her a lot. She’s smart, funny, and creative – my kind of people. I played Uber for Carla Cantagallo and Shero, who was in good form, and gave Carla a full tour of her house. Poor Crystal had to Uber herself, but she seemed okay with that. They all told me the burgers did not disappoint, and I trust they told me the truth. I know mine was delicious, as usual. So good, in fact, that I didn’t mind going back to the office on a Friday. We laughed a lot today and I think was exactly what we all needed. #grateful
