It has been quite the day, what with nearly eight hours of errands. That’s what I said, eight hours, although we stopped for a fabulous lunch in there somewhere. The first stop was my allergy shots, and who should be in line just ahead of me but dear Carol Street. She is just one of the best people I know and one of my all-time favorite co-workers. We have never wanted for things to talk about. Today was no different. There we were in the allergist’s office, having the best time, and then I took her outside to meet Shero. Carol’s beloved mom died about two years ago, and over time, she has generously gifted things to Shero. Their meeting was overdue, but as expected, they were fast friends. I tell ya, that Carol is a keeper. Meanwhile, Shero and I might need a day to recover from eight hours of errands.
