dog days
It’s the dog days of winter at my house. Scrappy, the top photo, has been white in his face for a while, but I’m beginning to see the old dog nose on him now. He is a grumpy old cuss for sure, but Lord Basil, in the bottom photo, doesn’t care. He takes his place with Mamaw Shero and sleeps like a baby. If only we all slept so soundly, or maybe I’m just thinking about my post-menopausal self.
