I cast my net of gratitude this morning, and this afternoon I received some joy. The 60th birthday camera just didn’t work. I tried and tried, but it had some unresolved –and unresolvable– problems. The dealer was extremely gracious (the warranty helped) and shipped a new one that works fabulously, as you can see here in these examples. Lord Basil needs to work on his posing skills, though. If I catch him in focus, it’s pure luck. Look how lucky I was! Luck, start to finish.
