northern lights
I had a completely different post ready for tonight until Jen Reynolds sent a text with a great photo from their porch in Northern Kentucky as they watched the Northern Lights. Wondering if we were being treated to the same show here, I stepped out into the backyard, iPhone in hand. Last year, when we were gifted with Northern Lights, they were nearly impossible to see without a camera, but this year, they were visible to the naked eye, more so from the backyard, where there’s less light pollution (barely). If I thought I could get out to the country in time to catch them, I’d be in the car lickity split. What a wonderful delight we’ve been given tonight. I hope you can see them where you are.
