last minute santa
I had no intention of leaving the house today, what with Christmas over and laundry not doing itself. But as the day wore on, and things got done, the outdoors wouldn’t stop calling because of the unseasonable warmth. Late in the day, when I couldn’t stand it anymore, I gathered Shero and set out to do some hunting and gathering. As it happens, we’d both been hoping Santa would bring us slippers, but he did not. We sought out our own slippers and ended the day grateful for sales and sunset.
